I believe that filmmaking is not confined to textbooks or traditional classrooms—it is a
craft best learned on the set, in real-time, through hands-on experience.
As a writer, director, actor, and entrepreneur, my journey in cinema has taught me
that true learning happens outside the conventional framework. Filmmaking is no rocket science—it is an
art that comes alive when you engage with it practically. My vision for ADFA is to redefine the way
cinema is taught, moving beyond theory to immersive, on-set training that prepares aspiring filmmakers
for the real industry.
My mission is to empower students with independence —equipping them with the
knowledge, confidence, and skill set to carve their own path in the world of cinema. Every student at
ADFA will learn the complete process of filmmaking, from script to screen, ensuring they are not just

Manish Kumar, a versatile personality with notable contributions in acting, entrepreneurship, and as thevisionary founder of Dream Sky Creation, has embarked on a new end eavor in the realm of cinema education. Teaming up with Mr. Avinash Dhyani, he co-founded the Avinash Dhyani Film Academy (ADFA). Understanding the pivotal role of mastering the basics in any field, Kumar's vision for ADFA is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of their craft. Shagufta Ali is an Indian film and television actress. She is known for her roles in Punar Vivah, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera, Sasural Simar Ka and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. In 2018, she was seen in Colors TV's Bepannaah.
